EP-221

EP-221 is a cationic monomer for UV-curing systems. It has two oxetanyl functional groups with polymerization ability. EP-221 has excellent difluence and cure-promoting effects. It has a high degree of cross linking and maintains high elasticity. It is excellent as a chemical resistant coating or heat resistant resin.

EP-221 has the following strong points as photo-cationic monomer:
-Rapid polymerization, high molecular weight and tough film property;
-Cure improvement by formulating with epoxy compounds, high manufacturing efficiency, lowinitiator content needed;
-Not mutagenic, high safety;
-Water and humidity resistance, excellent electric properties;
-High stability under high temperature or basic condition, long shelf life.
