The combination of the secondary hydroxyl groups with spatial steric hindrance and hydrophobicity enables the synthesized polyester paint to possess excellent water resistance, alkali resistance, and corrosion resistance;

• *When used in high-stability water-based polyester resin formulations, it significantly enhances the adhesion to various substrates;
• * The high molecular weight and branched structure result in the synthesized asymmetric polymer containing the fewest inter-chain hydrogen bonds. This leads to high-solid coatings having lower viscosity and excellent flow properties;
• * Excellent compatibility, the synthesized resin can be well modified with acrylic resins and amino resins;
• * The asymmetric structure brings good polarity, significantly improving the adhesion to polar substrates, and is suitable for improving adhesive formulations.
